Elementary School Facilities

As Wapsie Valley Community Schools begin construction on two pre-K-6 elementary school buildings, this page will serve as one means to update district stakeholders on the progress of the project. We'll also establish some frequently asked questions, along with answers to those questions. If you have questions regarding the construction process, please contact Superintendent Garber at school, at home, or via e-mail.

If you'd like to visit a blog with up-to-date news on the building process, please visit the construction progress blog at Wapsie Valley Elementary Construction Page. At the blog, you can ask question, post a comment, or look at video or pictures of the progress at each site.

Please describe the design development process that has taken place so far, and tell me who has been involved in that process.

What does the exterior of the elementary school buildings look like? (The blank spaces on the drawings are not changes in the exterior of the building; they are simply an area for the architects to make notes as part of their drawings. The exterior of the buildings will consist of both brick and split-faced block.)

What does the floor plan of the new elementary school in Fairbank look like?

What does the floor plan of the new elementary school in Readlyn look like?
