  • A HUGE congratulations to the Wapsie Valley Robo Warriors in the state runner up performance on Saturday, February 19.
  • We went 5-1 in the qualification rounds earning 5th place in our division.
  • We then went into semifinals going 2-0 in our division.
  • Advancing to finals in our division we also went 2-0.
  • In the finals for state between the 2 divisions, we won our first match with a new team high score.
  • We lost the 2nd final match to the highest score in the state/ 9th highest in the world.
  • In our final match we set another non penalty team high score, but defeated by the 3rd highest match in the world.

FTC: Iowa Championship

*Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the information is continuously evolving. Information will be updated as needed. *

Information about the FTC Iowa Championship, Presented by Collins Aerospace.
This event is a multi-day tournament. For the 2021-2022 Season, the FTC-Iowa Championship will be in-person. 

    • Xtream Arena, 200 E. 9th Street, Coralville, Iowa 52241
    • Team entrance: Loading dock of Xtream Arena, accessible via Quarry Road.
    • Guest entrance: Main doors at intersection of E. 2nd Ave & E. 9th Street.

    • Bus Parking will be in the Chip Seal lot (very limited). Teams will need to indicate if they will be bringing a bus prior to the event

    • Friday, Feb. 18 (team check-in, inspections & judging) & Saturday, Feb. 19 (matches), 2022
    • Detailed agenda is coming later.

    • Spectators will only be able to access the seating area and concourse. Spectators (including parents) will not be able to go into the pits or near the competition fields.
    • Credentials will need to be displayed to access the floor.

    • At this time, Iowa has received two allocations to the World Championship.
       

    • Friday - pits open, hardware inspections, field inspections and judging.
    • All teams must check in between 12:00pm-12:45pm.
    • Saturday - driver's/coaches meeting, opening ceremony, qualification matches, alliance selection, elimination matches, and closing/award ceremony.
    • Teams will need to plan to arrive between 7:00am-7:45am.
    • A 2022 schedule for teams and spectators will be published when the event gets closer.

    • Ranked 5th highest meet performance in Iowa out of 162 ranks!
    • The competition has been released!
